FOUNDER PROFILE
Dato’ Dr Charles Chen D.I.M.P., the Founder and Project Director of FoodNet International Holdings Pte Ltd, is a strong believer of continued upgrade through training and education. To assure his clients of the most professional services and be on top of the food industry, Dato’ Charles has personally attained the following qualifications – certified bilingual Practising Management Consultant under Singapore Business Advisors & Consultants Council (Enterprise Singapore-recognised certification) as well as a certified SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) approved trainer, course curriculum developer and assessor under the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment Program. In addition, he is also a certified Halal Consultant under the Practising Management Consultant platform.
Having great passion to drive community services, despite his heavy schedule, Dato’ Charles dedicated his time and played an active role as a District Councillor for the North East Community Development Council (Singapore) between 2014 and 2020. He was also an appointed International Advisor for The Municipality of Betong, Yala, Kingdom of Thailand.
Since the founding of FoodNet International, Dato’ Charles, with his enthusiastic team of consultants have served over 1,200 food manufacturers, restaurants and food services, logistics hubs and food chains, food caterers, canteens, packaging materials manufacturers, food grade sanitizing chemical manufacturers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, supermarkets and farms locally and around the region. He has also personally designed and see to the fruition of numerous food factories that cater to seafood and meat processing, central kitchens and manufacturing of processed and ready-to-eat food.
With his sense of entrepreneurship and meticulous nature, Dato’ Charles has carefully curated the multiple entities under FoodNet International Holdings Pte Ltd over the years. His passion and dynamism has taken the entire group of companies to scale new heights which explains FoodNet’s presence in countries beyond Singapore such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and China today.

FOUNDER MESSAGE
Food is a vital part of human existence. Food serves not only as a need, it is also a source of pleasure and communion. As such, extra precaution needs to be taken to ensure that the food that is served is fit for consumption and devoid of contamination. Food sources have to be fresh and clean, while preparation processes have to be safe and hygienic for daily consumption.
With the above vision in mind, FoodNet International Holdings was set up in 1998 with the mission to ensure that safe foods are prepared through proper sanitization and the highest degree of hygiene. Food premises require proper and hygienic handling and stringent manufacturing practices must be implemented in all food handling premises.
Our cardinal motto and guiding principle at FoodNet International is to ascertain that all food has to be of “A” grade quality, as hygiene in food production, manufacturing and consumption cannot be compromised.
Riding on the above principle, we strive to ensure appropriate chemicals are used for sanitization purposes and good hygiene practices being enforced on food handlers. This is enforced through educating our client on the proper use of sanitizers as well as creating consistent working instructions and training on how best to utilize them.
In keeping up with technology and further enhancing productivity, we are proud to announce the inauguration of SP Robotics TechFit Holdings Pte Ltd. in 2019. SP Robotics specializes in creating smart working environments utilizing robotics technology that optimizes Productivity, Efficiency and Reliability.
